  • OCSD Partners Up with Kaiser Permanente OC and DEA for Drug Take Back

    OCSD in partnership with Kaiser Permanente and the Anaheim and Irvine DEA is offering Orange County residents an opportunity to bring in their expired, unused and unwanted medications for disposal at two Kaiser Permanente drive-thru, drop-off locations. The service is completely free and 100% anonymous. No questions asked.
  • OCWD and OCSD RECEIVE 2014 U.S. WATER PRIZE

    Orange County Water District (OCWD) and Orange County Sanitation District (OCSD) were honored with the U.S. Water Prize during an awards ceremony at National Geographic headquarters in Washington D.C. April 7. Recognized for their joint project, the Groundwater Replenishment System (GWRS), the agencies were lauded as global leaders in reclamation and reuse. The GWRS and its current expansion are realized as a tremendous effort to reduce regional water insecurity and provide a local drought-proof water supply.
